Preschool

A Certified Preschool Program of Excellence for Young Children since 2009

PHILOSOPHY
  • We Believe that each child is a gift from God and should have the opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Engaging learning opportunities will be provided in these areas through developmentally appropriate experiences.

  • We Believe that each child is a unique individual with special talents and abilities, and we strive to instill a positive self-image and self-confidence in his or her own abilities. This can be achieved by intentionally providing a learning environment that promotes success.

  • We Believe that a teacher should encourage a child's natural desire for learning by providing love, support, enthusiasm, and understanding to each child. Every opportunity can be a teachable moment to engage a child's curiosity in the world around him/her.

MISSION
  • It is the mission of our preschool program to inspire children in their day-to-day learning to worship God, grow in their faith in Christ Jesus, and serve others.

CURRICULUM
  • Students enrolled in the Mothers Morning Out Program will be celebrating their abilities through developmental play
  • Students enrolled in the 2,3, and 4 year old preschool programs will be engaged in developmentally appropriate activities using formal curricula specific to fine-motor skills, phonetic awareness, language and literacy, implemented through engaging play and learning centers.
  • In addition to the above, students enrolled in the 4 year old preschool program use the nationally accredited program of Zoo-Phonics in preparation for successful entrance into kindergarten and beyond.

GOAL

The Goals of our program are to
nurture and develop the following:
