The Waleska United Methodist Church is proud of the fact that we are a friendly, family style congregation. As we have experienced some growth, this style of church becomes harder to maintain. One way to keep that friendly style alive and well is to form small groups that love and care for one another. This loving atmosphere then spreads throughout and keeps that friendly, family style vibrant. One way of fostering small groups is with a Shepherding Ministry. Each family will be part of a small group that will be cared for by a Shepherd. The Shepherd will contact you from time to time. The Shepherd will nurture the family of God so that we can continue to  share God's love with everyone who enters our doors.

 

What this ministry is NOT:

1. A solicitation for money.

2. A request for your services on a committee or activity.

3. Exhorting you to attend, or join a Sunday school class,  etc.

 

What this ministry IS:

 

1. An act of care and concern for you and your family.

2. An offer to try to answer or find the answers to any questions

     you have.

3. Relaying - but only with your permission - any needs,

     concerns, or problems with which you may be  faced to

     pastor. Confidentiality is our highest priority,  and nothing

     will be passed on without your explicit permission.
