Academic Curriculum
Waleska United Methodist Church provides a quality social experience in a
gentle, loving Christian environment. We believe there should be balanced
social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and cognitive growth. To accomplish
this growth, the children experience a variety of enrichment activities,
games, manipulatives, stories, and songs. We provide an opportunity for
children to learn though play, with a balance of self-discovery and teacher
directed activities. We use theme-based units for academics and integrate
scriptural truths and Biblical principle into our teaching. We use active
learning to teach social skills, and all learning is individualized at the
child’s own pace to promote school readiness.
